Hello Resident
In January 2026, the Wednesfield and Heath Town Neighbourhood Policing Team is actively using the "Together we can tackle crime" approach to focus on three specific community-driven priorities: Bentley Bridge Retail Park, The Crossways Shopping Centre, and off-road bike nuisance. Current Policing Priorities (January 2026) The team's current priorities include conducting regular patrols at Bentley Bridge to deter anti-social behaviour and shop theft, especially on weekends. They also carry out joint patrols with council partners at the Crossways Shopping Centre and residential blocks in Heath Town. Additionally, Multi-Agency Road Safety Operations are being conducted in Wednesfield North and South to address nuisance off-road bikes. Upcoming Community Engagement Events Residents are encouraged to attend upcoming local surgeries and community meetings to share information These include events at Wednesfield Library and The Hub at Ashmore Park on Friday, January 30, 2026, and a surgery at Stratton Street Community Centre on Monday, February 9, 2026 Local Team Leadership The local team is led by Sergeants Chris Smythe and Emma Clark.
